What are sanskars or impressions?

Sanskars or imprints are seeds. If there is a seed, then the growth is bound to happen. Now, if the seed is going to give excellent results, then everyone benefits from its yield. It will be beneficent. But if the seed is not good but the weak one, then the production is also not much fruitful.

Now where there is talk of sanskars, it is revealed through sanskars/impression on the soul and then its description i.e. karma or action.

The soul has sanskars of many births. According to deeds it performs, there are good ones and there are bad ones too. In fact, karma is the reaction by which sanskars are known.

How to clean the negative or weak imprints from mind?

It takes power to clean anything. It is only from the source of that power that the seeds of old sanskars can be destroyed. For that it is necessary to be attached to a super power which can change those sanskars.

How can it be recognized that these are old sanskars of the self?

Whatever action we do, it affects the mentality of the sacraments proof, from which thoughts are born and action is done to manifest those thoughts.
When the actions are real, then it would be said that there is a quality of sanskar. But due to negative effect on their thoughts and actions from negative sanskars, they would have wrong actions. Those cause misery. Means there repetition of sorrows due to our actions. Therefore it is more necessary to work on the sanskaras to improve the karma.

Cause of sorrows: Negative impressions (Sanskar) of mind

The origin of misery comes from the loss of morale. When the soul does not use the power of its mind or becomes subordinate to it, then there is a feeling of misery.

And knowing this also, there is no way to happiness. Because it’s unable to know what is the origin of suffering. That’s why spiritual study plays the most unique part in making us transform ourselves. By which the self was first identified. With the knowledge before the actions done, the soul expands the art of performing elevated actions, due to which the sanskars also become elevated. When the seed is of knowledge, then the actions are also true. We get this art through the use of spiritual knowledge.

Spirituality: The Stage of Correcting Old Karmas

Because spiritual knowledge is the knowledge that the soul learns to control the mind and intellect with authority. The balance of mind and the use of the power of the mind gives desired results. So the soul would have become the king, because through the recognition of the self, the power to control over the sense organs comes properly.

When the root of karma is known that it is the thoughts that cause the actions and to rectify the thoughts, to bring them the place is the only way to rectify the karmas. So one can also be freed from the influence of old sanskars.
Once the action is done, its reaction cannot be eliminated, but its effect can definitely be reduced. On the basis of knowledge, one would get that power from the Supreme Soul which could negligibly reduce the painful effects of old karma.

Sanskars are formed when we create any thought again and again, so next time we do not have to make efforts due to going on an automated mode. Similarly, when with knowledge we bring excellence from our elevated thoughts into action again and again, then the soul becomes adorned with this beautiful sanskar.

Belief system & sanskars:

Belief system depends on experience in the present life. What happens if this happens, its become a belief only because the person has experienced it over and again.

Sanskars are impression from past and also from present. Some are original some are acquired some are not ours. The one which we use more becomes the dominant one wich reflects our personality.

Belief system can be about faith, religion, people, idea it can also be because of influence of majority people. We need power to discriminate to know what is the right belief and wrong. We also need this power to understand our original sanskars to make them the best ones.

Our thoughts follow our belief system. Now it can be understood in such a way that as belief is there, so are the thoughts and according to the thoughts, actions follow. Every time we do that action with that thought stream, it gets printed in the soul in the form of sanskar. So here there is a need to change the belief system before the thought stream.
