God’s Gifts : What gifts does God gives us ?

In the 21st century, mankind has achieved great success in innumerable fields but at the same time have drifted apart from their own identities. The everyday rise in mental health issues is a clear indication of this. Despite having hundreds of “friends” on social media sites, they are victims of loneliness. Some indulge in addiction while some travel the face of the earth in search of peace. Some spend money lavishly and some invest in superstitious practices to find happiness. Yet all prove to be futile or give temporary contentment. The permanent joy of life begins to become a myth.

The continuous efforts of prestigious organizations fail to establish decorum on a global level and havoc continues to spread like wildfire.  The burden of the mind keeps increasing. Life becomes meaningless and mundane.

Like millions of souls, I too was lost and questioned everything around me. It was when God came and introduced Himself to me, that everything began to make sense. The biggest gift spirituality gave me was the identity of who I am. I received the knowledge that each person is a soul trapped in a body. It is through this body that one can do karma. Each scene in our lives is the result of our past actions. A soul is indestructible and hence death is a mere conversion of one body to another. The truth gave me the power to face life in a fearless way and retain stability in the face of a crisis. I understood the importance of right thinking as thoughts ultimately culminates into reality. The practice of raj yoga meditation helped me experience all these and establish a deep connection with the Divine. I was able to feel His love and protection at all times. The wounds of the soul began to heal away and I finally started to recover. True knowledge liberated me from sorrow and freed me from the shackles of vice.

Being the recipient of God’s treasures made me realize what true royalty feels like. Today I wish each one to be bestowed with such a fortune because when our lives become as invaluable as a diamond it is only then can we lead the world to a golden-aged era. After all, self-transformation alone can lead to world transformation.
